SHANAY LOTTERING

I’ve been part of the tourism industry for over 8 years, driven by a deep passion for travel and a long-standing goal of working at Springbok Atlas Tours & Safaris. From the start, I was drawn to the opportunity to explore new places, connect with people from different cultures, and turn that passion into helping others create unforgettable experiences.

Over time, I’ve gained experience across various areas of the industry — from working as a wine farm assistant and guest house administrator, to outbound travel consulting, and now as an inbound tour operator. Each step has broadened my understanding of how the industry works and strengthened my ability to create meaningful journeys for clients.

While my travels have been within Southern Africa so far, they have deepened my appreciation for the region’s diversity and beauty. I look forward to expanding my travel experiences internationally in the future. What I love most about the travel industry is its ability to bring people together and create lasting memories. In my current role, I especially enjoy helping clients plan meaningful trips and seeing their excitement come to life.

Outside of work, I love being a mom to Elaine, spending time with my loved ones, being part of my church community, keeping active, and exploring new places. I also enjoy a good game of pool and light-hearted fun with friends and family. Looking ahead, I hope to continue growing within the industry, expanding my knowledge, and inspiring more people to experience the joy of travel.
