I was born in the Eastern Cape and moved to Cape Town in 1999 to further my studies at Boston City College. There, I obtained my Travel & Tourism Diploma and embarked on a career spanned over 15 glorious years. During the first 12 years, I explored the outbound side of tourism, visiting mesmerizing African destinations like Victoria Falls and Namibia and Indian Ocean Islands like Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives, and Zanzibar. My travels also took me to beautiful Asian countries such as Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand.
However, my heart called me back home, leading me to join Springbok Atlas and shift my focus to Southern Africa. This region has left an indelible mark on my soul with its vibrant tapestry of cultures, warm-hearted people, and magical landscapes. Each day presents an opportunity for new discoveries – from glorious sunsets painting the skies above vast plains to the majestic Table Mountain towering over Cape Town’s bustling city life.
While travelling the world has enriched my life tremendously, Southern Africa is where I feel truly alive. Embracing our local attractions has been an enriching experience and a reminder that charity begins at home. I am passionately committed to showcasing the astounding beauty of our corner of the earth and inspiring others to fall in love with Southern Africa just as I have.
