Our drive to the city center takes us past famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope and City Hall, a baroque building and the Grand Parade. As we follow the city’s main thoroughfare, Adderley Street, we will see St. Georges Cathedral. We will pass the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter, also known as the Bo-Kaap. Continue to join a sparkling tour, and witness the art of diamond cutting and the careful craftsmanship of jewellery manufacturing by skilled experts. Discover the history of the Diamond and Gold Trade in South Africa. You will be offered the option of continuing to Table Mountain, where you can ascend to the top, weather permitting by the revolving cable car.

Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Co Ltd – Weather Permitting

Table Mountain has been named one of the seven wonders of nature and attracts millions of visitors from all across the globe, in fact, since the opening of the aerial cableway in 1929, more than 22 million people have taken the trip to the top. At the upper cable station, guests will find a restaurant and a curio shop as well as some footpaths for exploration.

Day 3 - Cape Peninsular Tour

We explore the Cape Peninsula today and our tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburbs of Sea Point and Camps Bay with its glorious views of the Twelve Apostles, part of the Table Mountain range. We’ll continue to the fishing village of Hout Bay, one of Cape Town’s best-kept secrets. From here we travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, comprising over 17,300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. Here we can see a variety of wildlife that includes baboons, Reebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok and the elusive eland.

The majestic coastline offers drama worthy of being called “Nature’s Greatest Show.” We’ll be able to see the union of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Following the coastline along False Bay, we’ll return to Cape Town by way of Simon’s Town, where we visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (entrance fee for own account) Before our return, we’ll stop for afternoon tea & cake and we return to Cape Town, passing the University of Cape Town and the Groote Schuur Hospital.

Day 4 - Cape Town

Day at leisure to explore the city on your own, do some shopping or just relax at the pool or beach.

Day 5-7 - Cape Town - Kruger National Park

The Big 5-lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino- call this area home but keep a look out for cheetah, giraffe and the brown spotted hyena. When you are not being whisked away on game drives, you will be sipping sundowners as you watch the spectacular sunsets. The lodges in this area offer a feast fit for kings and queens and you will have an abundance of choice of dining experiences. Dine under starry skies in rustic bomas, revelling in the warmth of the fire and a satisfied palate. Watching elephants drink or hear a hippo grunt at the many watering holes and sometimes from the privacy of your own room, is an extraordinary African moment.
