Your City & Wild Package starts in Cape Town where the Mother City beckons with the promise of adventure. You will spend three nights at one of the city’s most exquisite hotels and be taken on a city tour that will showcase the trending hotspots, nature and ocean. You will then enjoy a Cape Peninsula Tour which will take you to dramatic landscapes at Cape Point, where it feels as if you are standing on the edge of the world.
Your adventure continues to Safari Plains in the Waterberg region, an area known for its phenomenal sightings of the sought-after Big 5. You will spend two nights in this wild landscape and experience the true spirit of Africa.

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by an English speaking Springbok Atlas Tours & Safaris representative who will hand over your travel documents. From there you will be transferred to your Cape Town accommodation for a three-night stay in the Mother City. Cape Town has been voted as the best place to visit by the prestigious New York Times.
Your nights will be spent at the Queen Victoria Hotel, which exudes royal grace. The spectacular hotel occupies an enviable location at the famed V&A Waterfront and the 5-star elements include marble-clad walls, crystal chandeliers, white marble and wooden parquet flooring and the foyer boasts a dramatic white spiral staircase and a glass lift. The facilities are naturally world class, including a gym with a personal trainer and a designer spa with a hot tub and pool. Breakfast is an outdoor affair with a spread offering views to match. The Queen Victoria Hotel is an oasis of peace and understated opulence, where every detail has been attended too, including a 35-metre yacht for charters.

After breakfast, you will set out on a Cape Town City Tour.
Explore South Africa’s exciting “Mother City” on this guided tour of the historical and cultural sights of Cape Town. You will step into the rich history of the city, passing by key historical monuments and places of interest, such as the impressive Castle of Good Hope and Cape Town City Hall. The tour stops at the beautiful St. George’s Cathedral, passes through the lush Company Gardens, and explores the cultural hub of Cape Town, the Bo-Kaap, also known as the Cape Malay Quarter. A tour of this vibrant city, home to street markets of every kind, cosmopolitan and rustic eateries, and a host of cultures, is an unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a Cape Peninsula Tour.
This full day tour explores Cape Town’s stunning peninsula, moving through the vibrant coastal suburb of Sea Point with its famous promenade, and onto the upmarket, pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. The scenic road winds its way to Hout Bay where a boat trip to Duiker Island, home to thousands of seals, is possible before heading onto the famous Cape Point Nature Reserve at the tip of the peninsula. The road twists its way to the penguin colony that has made Simon’s Town its home, and then through the eclectic fishing village of Kalk Bay and surfer heaven of Muizenberg before stopping at the lush Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Day Four & Day Five
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport, where you will board your connecting flight to Johannesburg (for guest’s own arrangement). Once you have landed at O.R. Tambo International Airport, you will be transferred to Safari Plains, where you will spend two magical nights.
Safari Plains is a gorgeous safari lodge set against the backdrop of the magnificent Waterberg Mountain Range, showcasing the exquisite beauty of wide-open savannahs, rich wildlife heritage and spectacular vistas. Safari Plains is the essence of luxury in the African wild and has a high ceiling dining room, an elegant lounge area, a bar for sundowners as well as an indulgent spa.
