ROWINA STUURMAN 

I discovered my passion for travel and creating memorable experiences for others when I was 17. The energy and diversity of the industry drew me in immediately. Each day brings new opportunities to connect with people from around the world.

Over the years, my love for travel has taken me beyond South Africa, including time in the United States, where I visited destinations such as Miami and New York, and gained valuable work experience at Disney. This experience broadened my perspective, strengthened my customer service skills, and deepened my appreciation for the global travel industry. Despite these experiences, I was ultimately drawn back home to Cape Town and the beauty of South Africa. Since returning, I have continued to grow within the tourism industry, helping to create seamless and memorable journeys for travellers exploring Southern Africa.

What I enjoy most about my role at Springbok Atlas Tours & Safaris is turning travel dreams into reality and sharing the richness of our region with the world. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places, spending time with my son and loved ones, and continuing my own travel journey. I look forward to growing further and creating unforgettable experiences for years to come.
