Day One - Depart Johannesburg

You leave Johannesburg on a mid-morning flight

Day One

You experience your first intriguing glimpse of the Victoria Falls from the air before you touch down at Victoria Falls Airport. You are met and transferred to your hotel. You have the rest of the day at your leisure to explore the town or enjoy the many activities and attractions on offer (for guests own account).

Day Two

After breakfast, the Victoria Falls will take your breath away on a guided walking safari that takes you through the magnificent spray-drenched rainforest with its extraordinary plants and birds. You experience and photograph all the classic and best views of the Falls, the Cataracts and Livingstone’s statue. Later you will relax upstream on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River with plenty of game viewing opportunities as elephant, giraffe and antelope make their way to the river’s edge.

Day Three

Set off on a 90-minute road journey over the border into northern Botswana to the world-famous Chobe National Park, home to one of Africa’s largest and most continuous concentrations of game.

Day Four

You’re on safari so you wake with the dawn to be out game-watching early while the animals and birds are still wonderfully active. There is plenty of opportunity to see elephant, hippo, lion, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, red lechwe and impala. Hold your breath in anticipation, because there’s always a good chance at Chobe of seeing the less commonly sighted predators, leopard, cheetah and wild dog; as well as the rarer antelope such as roan, sable and puku. Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Chobe River before a stunning dinner under the African sky.

Day Five

After a sumptuous breakfast you transfer by road to Victoria Falls Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg.
