Day One - Departing Johannesburg

You leave your Johannesburg hotel at 08h00 on a comfortable 5-hour journey to the Mpumalanga province passing through the towns of Nelspruit, White River and Hazyview.

Day One

With great excitement, you enter the world-famous Kruger National Park for an afternoon of game-viewing. Return to your safari hotel in the lovely town of Hazyview and delight in a sumptuous dinner in lush surrounds.

Day Two

You’re on safari so you need to wake with the dawn and enjoy an early breakfast so that you can travel into the Kruger Park in the cool morning when the wildlife is wonderfully active. Your expert guide will be on the lookout to show you the Big 5 – lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino, as well as the many other animals and birds. Enjoy lunch (for guest’s own account) at a shady rest camp before setting back out to see all that you can see before returning to your safari hotel for a relaxing dinner.

Day Three

You have your morning at leisure before setting off to the charming town of Graskop for lunch (for guest’s own account). The route back to Johannesburg affords you the opportunity to see more of Mpumalanga’s gorgeous scenery and interesting towns. Travelling through Kowyn’s Pass you come to the quaint historic town of Pilgrim’s Rest where many of the original miners’ houses are preserved. You also travel through Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Belfast, before arriving in the ‘City of Gold’ at about 18h30.
